Service charge is common for the service sector (e.g. restaurants).
It is optional and the customer can ask to modify the amount or to totally discard it.
It can be added to the cart in two ways:
- automatically (e.g. for more than X guests), if you have previously defined it in the web dashboard of your account, or
- it can be created and added manually for each order, from the shortcut grid.
It can be easily removed, if required, regardless of the way it has been added to the cart.
To remove a service charge from the cart, select the service charge in the cart and tap on the red trash icon.
The amount of the service charge will be shown on the invoice (e.g. for a total amount of £300 and service charge 10% the invoice will be displayed as £30 for the service charge).
