Transaction failed or Transaction was declined messages can happen for several reasons:
- The WI-FI connection may be off or unstable.
- Card reader connection timed out.
- Inserting/swiping the card timed out.
- Waiting for the PIN/signature authorization timed out.
- Damaged card (chip error, magnetic tape damaged).
- Unsupported card type. In this case, the customer needs to use a different card.
- Insufficient funds.
